From Seed to Bottle: The Cold Press Journey

Pure Nature

The Journey from Seed to Your Table

Great oil starts with great care. Our cold-press method preserves every nutrient, giving you the purest camellia oil possible.

🌱 Step 1: Hand Harvesting

Every October, our farmers hand-pick only the ripest camellia seeds. This careful selection ensures the highest quality oil.

☀️ Step 2: Sun Drying

Seeds are naturally sun-dried for 5-7 days. This traditional method reduces moisture without any artificial heat.

❄️ Step 3: Cold Pressing

At temperatures below 50°C (122°F), we press the seeds slowly. This “cold press” method keeps all the natural vitamins, antioxidants, and flavor intact.

🫙 Step 4: Natural Filtration

We filter through layers of natural cotton—no chemicals, no additives. Just pure, golden oil.

📦 Step 5: Bottled with Care

Dark glass bottles protect the oil from light. Each bottle is sealed fresh, ready for your kitchen.

“We don’t rush. Good things take time—and so does great oil.”

How Are We Growing Our Camellia Oleifera Trees

Camellia plant is an evergreen shrub that grows up to a height of 2-3 meters. Pollinated by wind, the tree grows rapidly at a rate of 30 cm p.a. until it reaches maturity after around 10 years.

After trees reach maturity, it has a yield of approximately 10kg of fruits. The fruit comprises a pod of about 4 cm in diameter with up to five compartments that contain the seeds. The
seed is typically 2.5 cm long with hard, dark shell.

Our Camellia Oleifera Trees

Our Camellia Oleifera Fruits

We grow our own camellia oleifera trees in Hunan Province to deliver high- quality organic Camellia Oil products.
Our plantations are located in the area known as “The Hometown of Camellia Oleifera Tre e s ” . Its humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons creates a perfect environment for the tree’s growth. The comfortable annual average temperature of 18.1 ℃, and annual precipitation of 1440mm, give us excellent Camellia Oil Seeds.
Our professional management team follows the best practices and international standards to produce Camellia Oil products.

Camellia Oil Processing

Harvesting takes place once in late October each year. After collecting the harvest, seeds are placed in peeling. The peeled seeds are then squeezed to release raw oil. This output is subject to a range of processes that include filtration, removal of acid, decolorization, deodorizing, dewaxing and winterization. The finished oil is odorless and has a light straw color.
