Camellia Oil Processing

Harvesting takes place once in late October each year. After collecting the harvest, seeds are placed in peeling. The peeled seeds are then squeezed to release raw oil. This output is subject to a range of processes that include filtration, removal of acid, decolorization, deodorizing, dewaxing and winterization. The finished oil is odorless and has a light straw color.
